Corrosion Resistant Chains

Corrosion Resistant Chains include stainless steel, nickel-plated, plastic, and new technology using a zinc and nickel alloy that is mechanically applied to the chain components before assembly. They are widely used in food processing, fertilizer, and waste management plants.

300 series Stainless steel chains are highly resistant to acids and alkalis, and 600 series have heat-treated pins, bushing, and rolls for increased hardness and maximum strength. The 300 series provide the best corrosion resistance but they will wear faster than 600 series chains. Nickel-plated chains are less expensive than stainless steel chains and are used in wash-down and wet environments.
